Overview / Responsibilities
Wood (trading locally as PSNK) is currently looking for a Senior Engineering Systems Engineer to join our team in Atyrau.
We are seeking a proactive and systems oriented experienced individual to support the coordination of project delivery for SmartPlant tools.
Open and willingness to assist in adopting and maximizing software capabilities for successful schedule delivery is key.
Interfacing with global company SME’s for the various packages will be required to ensure relevant experience and support is provided to meet the project data and deliverables needs.
Main purpose of the job :
Act as project SmartPlant suite Engineering Systems Coordinator, providing support to project in all aspects of SP Suite administration.
Provide leadership and guidance on multi-discipline Smartplant tools setup, execution methods for all Smartplant tools.
Interface with global organization for specialist SME software support functions to meet project needs.
Interface with both engineering and customer to provide appropriate solutions for data management and completions systems
3D object reporting e.g. MTO, element status, holds management etc
Support cross tool data imports & exports.
Implement Review model exports and attend project reviews.
Implement and manage SP3D Clash Manager where required.
Scheduling of overnight administrative project tasks.
Experience with repeatable and replication engineering delivery a preference.
Liaison with and reporting to Project Engineering Manager
Issuing of SP databases to TCO when requested for auditing
Production of Engineering Systems Project Work instructions
Ensure all customer deliverable standards are complied with
Arrange for and issue of SP databases for auditing when requested by customer
Responsible for the technical integrity of deliverables.
Responsible for implementation of QA for the discipline on the project.
Project QA audits will verify implementation.
Skills / Qualifications
Required experience / Qualifications :
Bachelors Degree or equivalent in appropriate engineering subject.
Chartered engineer and member of appropriate engineering institution preferred.
Willingness to take on other tasks as requested and lead a team, but also have a flexible approach when required to work in small groups.
