Job description

  • Supporting business development, pre-contract and corporate activities.
  • Client co-ordination and interfacing.
  • Communicate project objectives, requirements and scopes of work to the engineering manager in a timely manner.
  • Draft CTRs for engineering review and development.
  • Developing and monitor agreed project execution plans.
  • Direct cost and planning engineers relating to project issues.
  • Collation and development bid proposals.
  • Identify, monitor and communicate critical path activities.
  • Interface with lead engineers relating to day to day project
  • engineering issues.

  • Collating and developing project status reports.
  • Monitoring project growth.
  • Monitor project budget.
  • Monitor compliance to contract.
  • Supervises accounting relating to project issues.
  • Develop and issue weekly and monthly project reports as required by the client and internally.
  • Progress required information from client.
  • Co-ordinate logistics for client meetings and surveys.
  • Review and chase client comments and approval on issued documents.
  • Collate project close out report.
  • Compile and issue lessons learned reports.
  • Qualification

    Master degree in Engineering (Process or Mechanical preferred).

    Min 15 years of experience in major Onshore or Offshore Oil & Gas Projects (Pipelines, Gas-Turbine Compressors would be an advantage), or for Major Oil Company or EPC Contractor would be a plus.

    Knowledge and experience in international EPC Contract or PMC Contracts related to the development and execution EPC Contracts.

    Relevant skills include Leadership of multidisciplinary team, Coordination and Engineering Management.

    Preparation and hands-on experience in engineering documentation (specifications, engineering requisition, equipment data sheets, etc.

    including training / mentoring of local staff, where applicable.

    Sound knowledge of configuration issues, connectivity between systems, the requirements of safety related systems.

    Knowledge of relevant International Standards Shell, API, ASME, ISO, (GOST and SNiP awareness could be an advantage).

    Be able to develop and implement a strategic plan for the company and to identify and procure the necessary corporate support and resources.

    Be able to use all the resources effectively and efficiently.

    Be competent to solve managerial and organizational problems.

    Be able to develop new businesses in favor of the company.

    Be highly motivating towards employees to improve productivity and be able to make feel each and every employee.

    Must have sound knowledge and understanding of technical terms and conditions.

    Awareness of compliance and audit processes.

    Ability to identify changes and improvements to the technical documentation and procedures to reflect Client’s changing requirements.

    Knowledge of computer based systems including, CAD, Database Management systems, Excel, Word, Microsoft Office or equivalent software packages.

    Be proactive, a self-starter and ability to work without supervision.

    Systematic thinker and good organizational skills / time management.

    Strong personality with ability to be firm and persuasive without authority.

    Team player within and across functions.

    Sensitive to Client’s requirements and Client-focused.

    Excellent written and spoken English and Russian are mandatory. Kazakh and German are advantageous.

    Normal Rotation : 5 / 2

    Hours : 40 hrs (Monday-Friday)
