About the job
The mission of the Marketing manager is to use content marketing as the tool to optimize every day to meet Marketing goals.
The two main challenges of this position are to be able to create and generate the best content as well as to distribute it to the community in the most effective and KPI-driven way.
Your main responsibility will be to lead marketing efforts for the events in collaboration with the programs & events product owners.
This job can be done from office or remotely.
Manage and generate content : articles, pictures, videos, infographics, etc
Generate, edit and share content on social media and on the blog.
Manage and optimize content distribution through social media, website and newsletter.
Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics on the website through data driven analysis and decisions.
Work together with the product owners on the strategy and planning of the marketing efforts
Run weekly experiments to increase startup applications and the number of attendees at the events
Create content around the programs and events : blog posts, videos, podcasts, infographics, etc... on a weekly basis
Manage the designs of material creations for the events
Monitor and coordinate the social media communication
Conduct online advocacy and open a stream for cross-promotions.
Become an advocate for the company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate.
Identify threats and opportunities in user-generated content surrounding the company, and report notable threats to appropriate management.
Previous relevant experience in content marketing, blog edition, writing, social media is a MUST
Excellent ability to read, write, speak English and Russian is a MUST.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to details
You are a very data driven / analytical person
You have strong copy-writing abilities and know how to create appealing content to a specific audience
You have knowledge of basic tools (eg Google Analytics, Fb Ads, Video edition, Photoshop / Illustrator, etc)
As a social media expert, you know how to embody a brand on all social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube)
As a digital marketer you know how to spot trending topics and how to find the best keywords
You are passionate about startups and entrepreneurial ecosystems
As a tech / startup / entrepreneurship addict, you read articles and consume content on those topics on a daily basis.
A team player with the confidence to take the lead and guide other employees when necessary. (ie : content development, creation and editing of content, and online reputation management).
Being a blogger in the past is a great PLUS
