Job Description

We currently have a vacancy for a Customer Service Representative at our Huntsman site in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

The Customer Service Representative is accountable for the supply chain, customer service and administrative activities of the Polyurethanes division in Kazakhstan.

The position is key to support the local growth strategy.

Reporting to the General Manager Huntsman Kazakhstan and the Supply Chain Manager in Russia, you will be responsible for managing the supply chain processes in the local organization, including the planning, import, customs clearance, inventory control and customer service for the products sold by the Polyurethanes division, administrative support and office management.

This is a multitasking cross-functional role requiring deep and broad knowledge in the different and extensive experience.

Key accountabilities include :

Customer Service

  • Order processing from order receipt to dispatch and invoice
  • Customer contact and response to queries ensuring a high level of customer service
  • Contract document and pricing management
  • Customer service- related Credit and data management activities
  • Planning, Logistics and Inventory Management

  • Distribution planning of all imported and local goods
  • Coordination with warehousing and logistics teams to ensure smooth deliveries
  • Monitoring of deliveries in 1C / SAP, issue resolution
  • Accountable for of stock levels at local warehouse
  • Inventory stock takes at local warehouse
  • Coordination with Russian Supply Chain team
  • Customs Clearance and Certification

  • Coordinate the customs clearance process for the products imported into Kazakhstan
  • Accountable for customs clearance procedures and costs
  • Monitor changes in Kazakhstan import duties and legislation
  • Apply and obtain licenses and certificates to enable the import into Kazakhstan
  • Administrative support

  • Administrative support including the document flow and records retention
  • Accountable for the office management following the Huntsman EHS, compliance standards
  • Close cooperation with the local accounting service provider
  • Coordination with Russian EHS, Admin team
  • Core skills, knowledge, and experience required :

  • Graduate
  • Language skills : fluent in Russian and English
  • Supply Chain and Customer Service or Commercial experience in similar environment more than 5 years
  • Deep knowledge of supply chain processes
  • Experience of 1C and SAP in order processing and planning
  • Import, export trade experience
  • Logistics and planning experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of customs procedures and regulations
  • Understanding of certification processes to import goods into Kazakhstan
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Customer oriented, flexible and independent
