Job Purpose : The role of the Commissioning & Operations Lead is to provide technical input and general support to the Client.

Such support includes assisting in the preparation of work procedures, work packs, strategyexecution documents, quality assessments of work performed, post job reports and ensuring that the Company's safety and project support structures are adhered to.

Required to work as a member of a multi-functional site-based client execution team responsible for the overall safe execution of the project within the approved budget and schedule whilst meeting projectquality plan requirements.

Interfaces with project execution teams to communicate progress and to clarify and resolve issues / concerns impacting execution.

Participates in resolution of technical issuesthrough the site Engineering Tie-Ins Team. Interfaces with all key stakeholders of the power tie-

in project to ensure interfaces are clearly scoped and defined to progress the project.Understand and relate any changes to global technical codes and present industry practices to team members.

The duties will include but not be limited to :

  • Execution of the scope as directed by management.
  • Liaise with different departments in relation to deliverables for project works.
  • Interfaces with all Execution Teams to communicate progress, clarify and resolve issues / concerns impacting execution.
  • Participates in resolution of technical issues through the site Technical Services Engineering team.
  • Provide daily record of key events and milestones within area of responsibility
  • Perform quality checks on project work, including coordination with third party inspection if required.Qualification : Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical EngineeringExperience, Skills & Knowledge :
  • At least 5 years’ prior experience in a lead project role
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) in brownfield tie-ins for high voltage networks
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) in greenfield substation commissioning
  • Working knowledge of System Completions deliverables and software.
  • Supervisory / team leader experience on E / I projects in the Oil & Gas sector
  • Previous FIFO experiencePersonal Qualities required for the position :

  • Personal integrity that can be a role model for all other members of staff
  • Ability to identify safe practices and communicate effectively the industry best practice
