  • Purpose :

    This job serves the interests of the local Divisions, organization in

    the country (Kazakhstan) by providing efficient HR Business Partner

    support.

    The job holder ensures the implementation and application of agreed upon

    standard HR policies and represents the needs of the local Divisions.

    This job supports the relevant local management in the resolution of

    individual local HR issues, interacts with appropriate employee

    representatives and links the local operations to HR Services as

    appropriate and necessary to assure a sound local HR service delivery.

    The job holder reports directly to the Country Commercial Lead in

    Key Tasks :

    The job holder provides leadership and coordination for all Human

    Resource activities of all Divisions in Kazakhstan. He / she is familiar

    with the key Bayer and country / country group HR processes and functions

    and ensures that these are taken into account at the local Divisions

    level as far as possible.

  • ensures the implementation and application of agreed upon Bayer
  • HR directives, policies, processes, systems and programs throughout the

    local Divisions and strives for best

    practices in the standardization, harmonization and alignment of local

    HR activities, but always with the business requirements in mind.

  • Executes effective local Talent Management (TM) initiatives in
  • line with the global Bayer Group TM strategy to attract, identify,

    develop and retain the right employees and to maintain a powerful talent

    pipeline in the local Divisions.

  • Provides support and guidance to the relevant local management
  • thus enabling them to contribute to the talent management agenda

    including participation in the Bayer Group Personnel & Organization

    Conference (POC) process with the Country Council. By doing so he / she

    helps the line management to develop employees’ capabilities to the

    mid to- long-term business needs.

  • Proactively work with the global and region HR BPs and ensure
  • continuous communication and sharing of information on all important HR

    topics with them, notably aspects of Talent Management.

  • Manages labour law / litigation in close collaboration with the
  • Head of HR for the country / country group and Law and Patents ensuring

    compliance and adherence to applicable laws and Bayer rules.

  • Supports organizational changes (restructuring, mergers,
  • acquisitions and divestments) providing appropriate solutions to the

    business from the HR perspective.

  • Provides HR perspectives on their relevant business operations
  • and consult with local management on HR implications on the strategies.

  • Through an understanding of the business and engagement with the
  • business leaders, translate the business requirements and challenges

    into relevant HR actions and initiatives.

    Qualification & Competencies :

  • Preferably a university degree or equivalent, especially with a
  • focus on Human Resources

  • English language should be fluent both in the spoken and written
  • form

  • Knowledge about the local legal employment conditions and those
  • of the Divisions and Country Platform.

  • Experience and proven track record in working across the core HR
  • functions with specific experience in one expert HR field.

  • Ability to collaborate in the Bayer HR business model : Shared
