The position of Sales Support Assistant is within our Infectious Disease EM Business Unit is located at Abbott Rapid Diagnostics Almaty, Kazakhstan.

The goal within each of these core markets is to ensure Abbott RDx leads in the move toward POC within both a primary and secondary care setting, consistently meeting business objectives.

The role of Sales Support Assistant is to support ARDx in building competitive advantage through the way we look after customers (internal and external), formalize and manage our relationships with them.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • The role is responsible for a variety of sales support and order processing functions for internal and external customers to facilitate business objectives
  • The role supports the customer either directly or indirectly but does not have sales targets and is not in receipt of a sales commission or similar bonus
  • Direct support would include dealing with inbound customer contact (i.e. enquiries, complaints), order management / status, outbound contact, updating customers, e.t.c.
  • Dealing with non-technical complaints or enquiries (i.e. late shipment, back order, e.t.c.)
  • Indirect support would include preparation of tenders and contracts and reports for the sales organisation, e.t.c.
  • Use of computerised system for tracking and information gathering related to order management / status
  • Requirements

  • 2-3 years work experience in a Service environment
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • good keyboarding and typing skills
  • detail-oriented, a critical-thinker, experienced at investigating and resolving complex issues
  • SAP or other ERP system experience as advantage
  • Competencies :

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain positive people relationships and build strong links with all departments
  • Team player with a high level of initiative, energy and enthusiasm
  • Challenge-minded with a high persuasive power
  • Driven by objectives, solutions, meet the deadlines and customer satisfaction
