About the role

Your Opportunity In this role you will be accountable for creating value through driving revenue and developing relationships with on trade customers in Kazakhstan Area.

You will provide regular and effective coverage of sales plan with the aim to achieve Company’s objectives in distribution, price, product availability and promotion.

You will create the legacy of Bacardi and drive key decisions that will significantly affect Bacardi’s presence in the on trade in Kazakhstan.

  • You will be responsible to deliver key targets as determined by the Country sales plan.
  • You will develop, and maintain effective relationships with customers and Key influencers and influence the positioning of Bacardi brands in the On Trade.
  • You will be accountable for the implementation of the Commercial plan that delivers against customer programs agreed in the Country Integrated Activity Plan (IAP) specific to the On Trade customers.
  • You will drive use of Picture of Success and approach to activate our brands to influence consumers at the point of purchase.
  • You will identify opportunities and guide the development and execution of strategies to maximize Bacardi’s performance at On Trade customers in your region, achieving value creation.
  • This role is varied and while based in the Almaty office, a large percentage of your time will be interacting with the local teams as well as key Customers.

    As a result, you can expect to be travelling to stay connected to all stakeholders.


    With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to :

  • Make effective business relationships with existing and potential retail clients at the territory he / she is responsible for, including national / regional key clients and retailers
  • Establish routes to visit the outlets in the served territory according to the existing database. To take into account the importance of the outlets for the Company's business, minimize crossings between the outlets, the frequency of visits to each outlet (prioritization)
  • Coordinate activities and to teach on-trade sales personnel and promotional agencies
  • Develop brand loyalty in on-trade sales personnel and to highlight the benefits of cooperation with us
  • Support, develop and coordinate the work of on-trade personnel to ensure the uninterrupted supply of direct and indirect customers
  • Control the quality of the promotions in retail outlets
  • Search for new and develop existing outlets
  • Analyze the situation in the territory to determine the prospects of the Company's business, establishing and developing business and partnerships with potential clients
  • Ensure the sales plan implementation for the served territory
  • Supervise and provide the consistent availability of our products
  • Coordinate the distributor’s work of the served territory. To control the tasks of distribution, sales, marketing activity in the segment of on-trade channel, to hold weekly meetings with distributor on-trade staff department
  • Monitor the compliance of product prices in the Menu according to the recommended prices of the Company
  • Convince the outlet administration to adjust the price for our brands according to the recommended retail prices and depending on the product prices of competitors
  • Require compliance with agreed sales outlet arrangements
  • Organize the installation of trade / advertising equipment
  • Provide trade marketing activities : trainings / consultations, promotional activities to promote the Company's products, motivation programs for client’s staff
  • Collect the statistics about Company’s and competitors’ products sales for the period
  • Provide monthly reports about the situation in served territory, including analysis of sales, distribution, information on promotional activities of the Company, and information on competitors’ activities
  • Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor degree.
  • Demonstrable track record of performance in Commercial
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Full-time availability.
  • Demonstrable affinity with On Trade, Events and / or Promotions.
  • Discipline, structures and a good ability to organize your work independently and effective.
  • If necessary, you are available and willing to work in the evenings and weekends.
  • The following experiences are preferred :

  • Experience in the Spirits Industry and / or Beverages is a distinct advantage
  • Language Skills : fluent Russian.
