Job Role Duties : To provide timely and effective advice and support to HR Manager, the management team and board in all areas : employee development, employment law, employee relations including disciplinary issues grievances, capability issues, absenteeism, maternity / paternity / emergency leave ensuring the correct procedures and best practice are followed.
To attend and manage all staff disciplinary and grievance hearing. Manage and co-ordinate the recruitment and selection of staff, including drafting job descriptions, adverts, liasing with managers and agencies, using discus, providing offer letter / contracts, ID and reference checks To be aware of legislative, best practice and other changes / developments in the field of HR and advise the board / management team / staff as necessary Responsible for writing and updating all HR Policies and Procedures / Employment Contracts in line with best practice and legal requirements.
To conduct all exit interviews, monitoring turnover reasons, identifying patterns suggesting resulting areas for improvement / change.
