Overview / Responsibilities

Wood (trading locally as WOOD KSS JSC) is currently recruiting for a SmartPlant Administrator with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry (for KZ passport holders).

SmartPlant Administrator position is responsible for coordinating and supporting all SmartPlant Enterprise level activities.

Responsibilities :

To perform this role successfully, the individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following :

SPI Installation and Project Initiation

Creating Customized Browsers

Creating and Customizing Reports utilizing Infomaker

SmartSketch >

Enhanced SmartLoop Utility

Data Import & Merger Utility

Drawing Set Up (I&C Deliverables per BMcD Standards)

Material Data Publisher

Develop Training Material and deliver internal training for SPI Configuration and Use

Develop, Train, and Manager SPI Team to support all P&I Projects

SPI & Foundation Troubleshooting

Skills / Qualifications

SPI Advanced User Training

Project Database Setup and Customization

Setup and Administration of SPI but also knowledgeable in SmartPlant P&ID, SmartPlant 3D, SmartPlant Electrical and Foundation

Background in Instrumentation & Controls is strongly preferred

Knowledge regarding Engineering / Construction / Fabrication area is desired for developing standardized SPI deliverables

5 7 years overall SmartPlant experience with minimum of 3 years of experience as an Administrator

Highly motivated and self-directed

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Leadership and Teamwork qualities are required

Proficiency with Microsoft tools such as Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access
