Overview / Responsibilities

  • Establish Construction Execution Strategy and Plan and take a lead role in implementing and administering it for a single project or a defined set of PCNs
  • Manage multi-disciplined contractor in construction phase of the plant change projects, liaise directly with Contractor Management in coordination and planning of material supplies and construction activities to ensure resources are available on-
  • time to achieve implementation milestones

  • commissioning, start-up, handover and operations in line with Agreed Completions system established. Assist in liaison with Operations and OR&A personnel (e.

  • Accountable for the Implementation Project Development Index Rating process for all NDD projects.
  • Accountable for the provision of Lifting & Logistic expertise in NDD projects.
  • Support Field Execution Team to ensure delivery of critical Onshore and Offshore plant change projects and Projects, in a safe manner consistent with the HSSE& SP standards, on schedule and within budget while meeting Company technical standards.
  • Ensure compliance with Project HSSE assurance activities in line with project assurance processes
  • Provide the Execution content in the Select and Define phases in the delivery of a specific set of plant change modifications or a single project assigned to NDD.
  • Define construction philosophy considering design influence on fabrication, transportation and installation stages. Conduct constructability reviews with feedback to design.
  • Identify construction integrity requirements.
  • Review and specify criteria for the fabrication and erection sequences of all field development equipment,
  • Skills / Qualifications

    Qualification & Experience Requirements :

  • Minimum of an associate degree in engineering discipline or apprenticeship combined demonstrated international construction experience in Oil & Gas industry working for a major operator.
  • Significant field experience gathered from a wide range of locations, minimum 6-8 years relevant experience in all phases of the project life cycle including international experience, including 3 years in senior role, preferably with a period spent in a brown field construction environment, facilities engineering and / or Turn Around team.
  • Demonstrated strong personal commitment to HSSE Leadership and experience in managing HSSE throughout all project phases
  • Experience of driving business and work process improvement in project execution and construction, key words being : HSSE driven mindset, fit-
  • for-purpose solutions, simplification, lean methods and cost effectiveness

  • Demonstrated (timely) delivery capability to enable contribution to successful preparation (adherence to stringent Turnaround milestone planning) and completion of projects for Turnarounds.
  • Proven leadership and managerial skills and strong personal drive in order to meet deadlines and specific targets
  • Demonstrated ability and capability to step into Procurement, Engineering and other disciplines to remove barriers
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor staff, driving the development of local talent.
  • Team player with clear evidence of working with others to deliver on goals.
  • Experience building and leading multi-disciplinary teams, which include ESC contractor and Construction contractor staff
  • Experience in project management, engineering and construction of oil & gas facilities, preferably with experience of design integration of multi-
  • process unit facilities.

  • Track record of successfully leading project development and delivery
