IT Project Senior Analyst
Job Purpose :
Identify, understand, document, design and implement changes in banking applications, processes and infrastructure;
Support, enhance and implement business systems and applications.
Maintain smooth and undisturbed operation of Kazakhstan TTS Tech department.
Key Responsibilities :
Coordinates activities of the project team, identifies necessary resources and develops schedules to meet completion deadlines.
Verifies project team adherence to control and risk implementations as well as standards and process changes.
Determines scope and impact of project risks and issues; raises and resolves issues.
Applies good understanding of concepts and procedures within own IT project leadership area to resolve issues.
Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of how areas of IT project leadership collectively integrate to contribute to achieving business goals.
Provides evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual information in complicated and unique situations.
Directly impacts the IT project leadership area through shared responsibility for delivery of end results and contribution to planning, budget management and formulation of procedures;
influences resource planning.
Persuades and influences others through communication and diplomacy skills; may negotiate with external parties.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Interfaces with business units and IT stakeholders to identify and understand requirements and design solutions to meet business unit and IT stakeholder needs;
Analyze requirements and develop specifications for application development;
Support business applications in tight cooperation with local, cluster and regional support teams;
Perform various bank software systems release / upgrade implementations including planning, testing and installation on production environment in compliance with Citi policies and standards;
Report all errors / failures to Technology and Business management and contribute to solving the issues;
Provide Citi Kazakhstan staff with support on Technology related issues and provide training to users where necessary;
Maintain and support applications inventories and ensure compliance with Citi’s Tech standards;
Implement various business automation systems and solutions in accordance with business requirements and Citi standards.
Perform other TTS Technology related duties by special assignments.
Knowledge / Experience / Qualifications :
Five or more years of experience in business analysis, project management, applications support or software development, in banks as a plus;
Commensurate people management experience;
Skills & Competencies :
Advanced skills in one of the technology domains : application development or support, business analysis or project management;
Understanding of databases, sql, xml;
Knowledge of Windows Server architecture, basic networking, industry best practices;
Good understanding of banking business;
Ability to learn quickly.
