Planning, implementation and arrangement of student recruitment and admission to the University undergraduate and graduate programs


Job Description

- to organize the Department’s activity for timely and proper students recruitment for studying at the University and providing overall supervision of organizational and technical activities related to selection process;

- to ensure effective planning and monitoring of Department’s budget;

- to ensure implementation of data privacy regime in Department regarding personal data of applicants/ candidates and the University’s activities;

- to establish contacts and cooperation with public authorities, organizations and educational institutions, foreign partners and structural divisions of the University regarding the issues within the competence of Department;

- to make proposals and participating in drafting regulatory legal acts, plans, programs and recommendations in the field of education, as well as normative documents of the University within the competence of Department;

- to provide assistance in professional development of Department employees, creating conditions for continuing growth and motivation of employees;

- to participate in the processes of risks identification, assessment, management, monitoring within the framework of supervised area.


Qualifications

High-professional, preferable from the higher education institutions with English language of instruction:

- Education;

- Educational Policy;

- Educational Leadership;

- Economics;

- Management.

- at least 5 years of relevant professional experience, including 2-3 years of supervising experience, if a candidate holds a Doctorate degree; or

- at least 7 years of relevant professional experience, including 5 years of supervising experience, if a candidate holds a Master’s degree; or

- at least 10 years of professional experience, including 5-7 years of supervising experience or in the fields relevant to functional areas of the specific position in civil service, international and/or national companies, if a candidate holds a Bachelor’s or a Specialist degree



Additional Information

- management skills (distinguished leadership skills, decision-making ability, setting goals and planning, assigning responsibilities, monitoring and motivating subordinates)

- analytical skills (ability to perform forecasts on data analysis);

- ability to work effectively in team;

- knowledge of secondary and higher education systems in Kazakhstan, foreign systems as well;

- communication, stress management and conflict management skills, responsibility

Excellent public speaking and writing skills in Kazakh, English and Russian

Advanced level of computer knowledge (MS Office, MS Windows, Google Instruments, Database)
