In his role, the storekeeper will manage the items received in the stores under his full responsibility, assuring a good control of the received items and requisitions, dry, fresh, chemicals, printing, etc.
He will assure the safety of those items and their conservation in an adequate temperature and humidity ratio
Verifies that all supplies and goods received are listed on requisitions / orders and the delivery channels, invoices are checked and filed in the appropriate folder.
Maintains par stock, inventory and stock records every month and compiles records of expenditures / consumptions etc.
Support and encourage the objective of cost control and maintain traces for audit
Update and maintain the minimum and maximum stock levels for approved products
Be aware of the fluctuations in the consumption pattern and be proactive with the slow moving and non-moving items
Maintain the cleanliness in the area and respect the standard implement in storing
Verify all the incoming goods against the receiving records
Understanding of the Hotel Industry
Good material organization skill
Familiar with Materials Management system (MMS)
