Treasury and Trade Solutions Sales Manager

Goals and objectives :

  • Build cash management revenues by originating to clients, focusing on SOEs, local corporates & Public sector companies
  • Form effective partnerships within ICG Kazakhstan (within TTS, BCMA, O&T, legal & compliance etc) & across TTS EMEA / global network, to form & drive effective deal teams
  • Meet pipeline & deals closed targets as agreed with TTS head
  • Key Responsibilities :

  • Build pipeline of viable business opportunities aligned with TTS sales strategy, & leveraging current & upcoming TTS capabilities.
  • Agree TTS pipeline & deal roles of RMs with RMs

  • Understand market trends , competitor behavior, client operating environment : form insights & share with rest of TTS & ICG KZ & relevant TTS RUK / EMEA partners
  • Understand drivers of client needs & buying decisions : Identify areas of unmet client needs & agree next steps with : product development TTS product managersimproving service level cash operations & Citiservice
  • Origination : able to originate new opportunities to build pipeline & close dealsfocus on developing personal relationships with client contacts, including senior decision makers (CFO, treasurer) for product developmentsfocus on understanding specific needs for major clients, their purchasing decision & how we target them, who is the deal team.
  • Able to engage Citi seniors (in Kazakhstan & across network) to support your origination

  • Compliance with applicable TTS & ICG policies
  • Knowledge / Experience / Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Fluency in English
  • Preference to candidates with Association of Corporate Treasurers (ACT) or equivalent treasury qualification
  • Preference to candidates with experience or exposure to treasury departments of our corporate clients
  • Preference to candidates with 7+ years’ experience
  • Skills & Competencies :

  • Enjoy forming personal relationships : building trust & credibility, understanding a client’s needs & then delivering them
  • Strong communication skills in variety of settings in-person, video or phone call, with / without slides, able to write clean yet analytical slides
  • Ability to form & drive deal teams : within Citi KZ & across TTS network, to close deals & execute projects
  • Analytical skills : able to identify commercial opportunities & articulate to partners so team can act upon them
  • Understand regulatory environment : understand current & upcoming regulations & implications for clients & also Citi
  • Understand client vs Citi operating environment : TTS is an operational business & so this is critical for appropriate decisions & solutions.
