Purpose of the Role : Head of Employee Relations serves as the main point of contact for all recruitment- and- employee relations questions.
The role oversees the HR services at NU, implements, monitors the best practices in employee relations, and ensures that HR Operations is in line with NU Core Values, internal policies and procedures and the national labor legislation.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Employee Relations : Focuses on preventing and resolving issues between coworkers and management, concentrates on understanding how employees feel about their job, organizational environment, and overall well-being.
Updates the employee handbooks, prepares guides and internal training to educate NU employees about the HR related policies and practices.
Administration : Manages the team responsible for day-to-day HR operations (recruitment, HR administration, employee relations, onboarding, off boarding).
Works to improve the HR Operations technology to automate processes and minimize administrative overhead.
Recruitment : Implements best practices in recruitment and selection to improve candidate experience, serves as a recruiter for middle-and-higher-level jobs.
Onboarding : Develops a structured onboarding program and supports managers in delivering a positive onboarding experience to their new team members.
Off boarding : Looks for feedback from the leaving employees on how to create a better work environment and employee experience for the current and future employees.
Compliance : is responsible for the compliance of the entire NU HR Operations with national labor legislation and alignment with NU Core Values, internal policies and procedures.
Data and Reports : Responsible for keeping employee data up-to-date and providing internal and external reports in a timely and accurate manner.
Other : Drives continuous improvement of processes, procedures, and policies to enable efficiency, effectiveness, and resilience.
Performs other duties relevant to the purpose of this role
Job requirements : Master s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or similar. Not less than five years of practical experience in HR, Recruitment, Labor law, Employee Relations.
Experience in managing or supervising other employees is required.
