Purpose

  • Achieve sales targets within a given set or single Key Account independently or with a team of resources
  • Is responsible for a significant portion of revenue (10-20%) at the Country level
  • Assists in planning and implementation strategy for accounts where relationships, identifying opportunity and account management skills are critical
  • Accountabilities

  • Implements sales strategy to achieve sales objectives for assigned accounts
  • Drives large contract negotiations, accounts may have multiple buying locations requiring management of complex partner relationships
  • Monitors competitor activity in account(s) and drives the development and implementation of appropriate response strategies
  • Works with channel partners on products and promotional materials, trains channel sales force on new product
  • Considerable product knowledge May be responsible for working across multiple large and medium customers, may have responsibility for a majority of the revenue at the country level but must meet the single large customer requirement
  • Experience required

  • Latest concepts in strategy development and competitive analysis
  • Financial modeling know-how
  • Leading analysis and synthesis efforts of complex business information and data resulting in recommendations regarding strategic action
  • Project management techniques
  • Critical knowledge

  • MBA or equivalent experience
  • 8 years experience in an international environment
  • Project management experience required commercial experience or a marketing and sales background is a plus
  • Experience in similar roles in other industries and in leading multi- national project teams
