Job Accountabilities :
Manage assigned projects, subprojects, or workstreams within projects (single business in a single location / region).
oApply the Venture IT Controls Framework, in particular risk analysis and relevant control selection; o Execute the delivery of the project within an agreed IT / IM architecture and conforms to Venture IT / IM standards;
oEnsure Project complies with Regulatory and Legal requirements;
oManage project within an agreed programme; o
oEnsure project is delivered on budget and on schedule. Manages a budget of 250K-500K;
oo Deliver the contracts needed to maintain the project deliverables;
Manage a project team
o Define the resource requirements, including numbers of staff and skills needed;
o Work with line manager to ensure that the resources are assigned to the project;
oExpected size of the project team is 2-5 FTE, from full time or 10-20 part time staff assigned to work on the project;
Benefits realisation :
oAgrees what the benefits of the project are and work with the project sponsor to ensure those benefits are obtained;
Sustainability :
oAssist the user community in POD in the provision of business change support and change planning; o Ensure the project deliverables can be supported;
oDevelop the support services and ensure that all the support tools are configured, the support model is agreed with the support team and transition to support is completed and signed off.
PM Community : o Attend IT PM Community meetings.
Actively seek coaching on both Project Delivery elements and personal competence development.
Execute projects that introduce significant change to a single Department or minor change across all POD
Competences :
Skill in Project Management. Working towards PMP certification.
Knowledge in Business Analysis techniques
Knowledge in Business Change Management
Knowledge in Business Parttnering and Value
Requirements :
University degree in computer science, Engineering or Petroleum Engineering disciplines (Reservoir, etc.)
Minimum 3 years in executing projects.
Minimum 3 years working in applications delivery to Production Operations, Geosciences, Engineering in the Oil and Gas or Manufacturing Industry in a business analysis engineer or data management engineer role
