Implement the Global SHEQ policy and management system
Motivates and supports the Management of the Business Unit in order to successfully implement the Group SHEQ policy.
Implements and maintains a certified management system compliant to ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001.
Is responsible to monitor that all working processes (including process flowcharts, procedures, instructions, forms, .
are clear and unambiguous, conform to the global SHEQ policy and understood and executed by all employees. This should lead to zero incidents / accidents and to total customer satisfaction.
Advises senior management on the development of SHEQ objectives and continual improvement programs.
Develops, implements and monitors performance measurement systems with regard to quality, safety and environment.
Manages a team of quality, safety and environmental advisors.
Manages compliance with local, federal and international regulations and standards with regard to safety and environmental protection.
Develops management reporting and communication systems.
Provides training programmes to support staff in achieving SHEQ objectives .
Establishes and implements an internal audit process to control the integration and application of the SHEQ processes in the office and on site.
Reports internally about findings, corrective actions and defines preventive actions based on trend analysis, consistent with global benchmarking .
Represents the company at external meetings .
Attends internal (team) meetings which include SHEQ topics .
Takes an active part in safety committees .
Attends Management Committees .
Conducts work groups and manages them .
Follows new developments concerning SHEQ and its implementation within Heavy Lifting and Special Transport .
Master or bachelor'ss degree in a relevant subject
Vocational qualification in one or more of the following areas is a plus : quality, health & safety or environmental. e.
g. ISO Lead Assessor, Health & Safety Inspector, etc...
Minimum 5 years experience in a (higher) management function and with the creation, implementation and audit of management systems (ISO, OHSAS ...).
Experience in Oil&Gas is an asset
Excellent written and spoken English
Knowledge of other languages is a plus
Strong user ability
Local and Federal Regulations and Codes of Practice
Is able to perform the required QEHS related administration.
Knowledge of international QEHS standards (ISO9001, ISO14001, OHSAS18001).
Knowledge of management systems.
Total quality management, business process management and its applications
Knowledge about typical equipment used in heavy lifting and special transport is a strong plus.
