Purpose of the role : Employee development is a strategic tool for our continuing growth, productivity and ability to retain valuable employees.
He / she leads the design and delivery of the University- wide career planning and development programs informed by the skills gap analysis and prioritized by future business needs.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Workforce planning : Leads the delivery of a University wide workforce analyses to define knowledge / skills gaps, development needs and contribute to the strategic workforce planning.
Career Planning and Succession : Designs possible career pathways for various roles. Helps employees to identify career goals based on staff reviews and career conversations / advising sessions .
Develops and maintains learning programs and apprenticeships (job rotation, job shadowing, developmental assignments) to reskill and upskill employees based on the career pathways, career goals and internal talent pipeline needs.
Performance Management : Implements unified approach to feedback, performance management at all stages of the employee lifecycle.
Works with managers to identify training needs to improve employees performance.
Learning : Develops and maintains a coherent learning program that will enable all University employees to be at the forefront of innovative thinking in their market or specialism and be well-rounded leaders.
Leadership Development : Leads the design and implementation of an institutional approach to leadership development including development of the related programs.
Projects : Contributes to the development of the University People Strategy, leading aspects of its delivery, translating strategy into actions.
Key contributor to institutional projects that may include change, systems, continuous improvement.
Administration : Replaces General Director of the Human Capital Development during his / her short-term absence (up to one month), leads the team members involved in learning and development.
Oversees learning budget, ensures proper supplier management, including value for money analysis and content co-design.
Other : Leads and drives continuous improvement of processes, procedures, and policies to enable efficiency, effectiveness, and resilience.
Performs other duties relevant to the purpose of this role.
Job requirements :
Master s degree in Phycology, Human Resource etc. Professional qualification / s in field of learning and development, CIPD or SHRM qualification preferred but not essential.
Extensive work experience in the learning, development, and employee engagement. Experience of managing resources, both people and financial is required.
