The successful candidate will report to a Field Service Supervisor and Regional Field Service Manager and be responsible for the first line service support within the region, system installations, technical escalations, and remote support.

The FSE is primarily responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance on assigned equipment. In order to successfully do so, the FSE will have to develop positive working relationships with immediate colleagues and other teams such as Global Technical Support, Applications, and Account Management.

The FSE must be able to work independently under stressful situations (time pressure, expectations), understand the importance of customer satisfaction, and achieve success through integrity, intensity, involvement, and innovation.

  • The Position*Specific deliverables associated with this opportunity include : * Provide first line support on assigned products including phone, email, and onsite support for maintenance and repair* Provide individual and situational leadership* Provide remote support to colleagues and customers* Successfully complete technical training as required* Adhere to technical and administrative processes*Position Requirements*The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience : * University degree in technical direction, or a combination of education and experience that demonstrates the required skills (Associates, Bachelor's or Military Experience)* Experience in high-tech industry in service, development, or manufacturing* Experience with analytical equipment (electronics troubleshooting, (ultra-)high vacuum, software, physics, mechanics) such as Electron Microscopes, Wafer steppers, Medical Equipment (e.
  • g.
