Job description

Review project speci fi ca tions, adminis trative and technical practices, design instruc tions, plot plan, flow diagrams, and supplier information.

Input into the develo pment of Project Mecha nical Engineering CTR’s for review with Chief Engineer.

Commu ni cates and interface with other project design and engineering disciplines.

Submits Project Design speci fi ca tions, Data Sheets and documents for issue for Mecha nical Equipment Pumps Compressors Cranes and Mecha nical Handling Equipment Pressure Vessels Tanks Fire Fighting / Safety Equipment.

Follow up with Equipment Suppliers to ensure equipment meets project requirements.

Check, back check, and correct documents.

Review and comment on other depart ments’ design drawings / documents and supplier equipment drawings / documents.

Update project master documents.

Report Document and Activity progress.

On assignment to the field, supports construction in drawing and speci fi cation inter pre ta tions and design modifi ca tions.

Also assists in carrying out site surveys, measu re ments, acts of accep tance, and other site engineering activities.

Assist Senior Engineers and gain needed experience.

Compe tency requirements :

Must have sound knowledge and under standing of technical terms and conditions.

Familiar with all phases of Contracts.

Awareness of Compliance and ISO Audit Processes.

Ability to identify changes and impro ve ments to the technical documen tation and proce dures to reflect Client’s changing requirements.

Knowledge of computer based systems including, Database Management systems, Microsoft Project, Primavera, Microsoft Office or equivalent software packages.

Be proactive, a self-starter and ability to work without supervision.

Syste matic thinker and good organiz a tional skills / time management.

Strong perso nality with ability to be firm and persuasive without authority.

Team player within and across functions.

Sensitive to Client’s requi re ments and Client-focused.

Knowledge of computer based systems including, CAD, Database Management systems, Primavera, Microsoft Office or equivalent software packages.

Qualification

Education : Bachelor degree in engineering is minimum requirement.

Master degree preferred

Language skills : Russian and English are mandatory.

Kazakh is advantageous

Profes sional experience : Min 5 years
