Experience in working as the Lead Pipeline Engineer and Mechanical Engineer to validate the piping and mechanical documentation for the pipeline, Gas Metering Station, Block Valve Station, Pig Trap Station and Compressor Station.
Experience in the work involved the review of the Basic Design documentation prepared by the Subcontractors in charged to develop the design (Designers) and, if necessary, to make proposal of alternative to improve the completeness and quality of the documentation reviewed.
Experience in the review of the Detail Design documentation prepared by the EPC Contractors, and, if necessary, to make proposal of alternative to improve the completeness and quality of the documentation reviewed, in respect of the budget approved, attending kick off meetings, assistance to the Client in the assessment and validation of the technical issues at the base of Change order or Claims raised by the EPC Contractors.
Familiar with all phases of EPC Contracts.
The Piping Engineer must be fully experienced and knowledgeable of international codes of standards and recommended practices applicable to oil and gas projects at the FEED / EPC stages.
Higher Education Bachelor Degree (in Mechanical Engineering, Technical Sciences or similar) is mandatory, preferably including education in Western institution of higher learning.
Minimum of 3 years of experience.
Relevant certifications in mechanical industries.
Fluent knowledge of English language is required (Russian would be an advantage).
Knowledge and experience in international PMC contracts related to the development and execution EPC Contracts.
Relevant skills include Piping & Mechanical design for Pipeline, Block Valve, Pig Trap, Gas Metering Station and Compressor Station.
Experience in the review of Mechanical engineering documentation.
Preparation and hands-on experience in Mechanical engineering documentation (specifications, engineering requisition, equipment data sheets, etc.
including training / mentoring of local staff, where applicable.
Experience in Pipelines, Gas-Turbine Compressors and Power Generation, particularly in respect of Compressor or Power Stations.
Experience in major Onshore or Offshore Oil & Gas Projects, or for Major Oil Company or EPC Contractor would be a plus.
Experience in pre-award technical activities, involving qualification of Bidders, would be preferable
Contracts Development Experience, supporting the drafting of technical scope of work of ITB’s, particularly for EPC scope and Lump Sum conditions.
Knowledge of relevant API, ASME, ISO.
Sensitive to Client’s requirements and Client-focused.
Team player within and across functions.
Knowledge of computer based systems including, CAD, Database Management systems, Excel, Word, Microsoft Office or equivalent software packages.
