Position objective :
Markets & Securities Services Technology (MSST) InCountry Lead for Kazakhstan is a technology manager responsible for management of local applications portfolio related to Markets and Securities Services businesses in Kazakhstan.
This assumes management of software development projects portfolio, production support service and applications lifecycle management, including risk & control items against those applications.
The role reports directly to EMEA MSST InCountry Head and Kazakhstan O&T Head.
Responsibilities :
People management of 2 FTE on Citi side
Management of development / production support services on technology partner side 5+ non-employees
Management of software development projects portfolio for local SST applications in accordance with corporate standards, guidelines and procedures
Lifecycle management of the local SST applications portfolio (6 applications)
Management of production, COB, UAT, testing and development environments for the given applications
Management of relationships with local Markets and Securities Services Business and Operations leads in Kazakhstan
Ensure process of technology alignment with business priorities and transparent prioritization
3rd party vendor management
Oversight vendor’s support team service and its quality.
Perform problem management activities and incidents statistics analysis to manage possible trends and improve support quality
Coordination with other technology partners including country technology and global technology teams
Ownership of risk and control items in the given area
Coordination of annual budget planning, recovery planning and other annual BAU activities for the unit
Contribution to the audits and external regulations review for the unit
Qualifications :
7-10 years’ experience in a financial / IT industry
Fluent English
People management experience 3+ years
Solid understanding of software development process
Excellent soft skills
Strong project management skills
Knowledge of investment products
Ability to work under pressure
Experience to work in international companies is a benefit
Advanced Russian
