The ICG Know Your Customer (KYC) Utility is an Anti-Money Laundering (AML) function within the ICG business that is responsible globally for ensuring ICG meets the standards mandated by Corporate Compliance and external regulators.

The overall objective of AML KYC Analyst (Case Manager) role is to support Business partners (KYC Owners ) to ensure deliverables relating to KYC records completion in a timely manner in the CitiKYC system.

Responsibilities :

  • Support Business partners (RMs ) to ensure deliverables relating to KYC records completion in a timely manner
  • Initiate KYC process by making research and collect the required information from the internal and external sources (clients website, regulatory websites, independent data bases, government sites and etc.)
  • Validate the information under Customer Identification Program (CIP) and global and local AML requirements to ensure on-time KYC record completion and accuracy
  • Perform AML and Sanctions Name Screening in alignment with Screening Standard requirements
  • Maintain Direct Client Model - to communicate with the clients under the documents collection for KYC record creation / renewal
  • Meet daily and monthly targets on KYC records completion and quality;
  • Pro-actively act raising and clarifying issues related to KYC process;
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Fluency in English
  • Preference to the candidates with experience in AML / Legal / Clients legal documents validation or association to KYC process
  • Fluency in searching information in the different resources
  • Skills and Competencies :

  • Enjoy forming personal relationships : building trust & credibility with business partners
  • Strong communication skills in variety of settings in-person, video or phone call
  • Analytical skills - to be able to capture a piles of KYC procedures and policies and different countries AML requirements
  • Self Discipline - to be able to work remotely
