About the role :
The Junior Accountant will be a part of professional team to provide high quality support to our clients and grow professionally with us.
Key Responsibilities :
Collect, review and process primary documents
Draft primary documents (sales, tax invoices, expense reports of employees, noncurrent assets and inventory movements and others)
The assistance in preparation of monthly payrolls.
Preparation payment documents in online-banking systems
Maintain accurate and timely payment process according to procedure agreed with clients
Prepare drafts of payment orders and documents for currency control
Administrate documents flow : file, keep, archive incoming / outgoing documents in accordance with regulations adopted by the Company
Processing bank statements in accounting software
Perform correct and time posting of sales / purchases / settlements with employees in accounting system
Draft reconciliation documents with suppliers and customers
Provide information / data to senior staff members according to their instructions
Assist in management and statutory reporting (provide relevant information to senior staff members)
Assistance in HR documentation preparation for the clients
Maintenance of the payroll and HR related registers and logs
Assist with requests of government authorities and during statutory or internal / external audits
Communicate with the Clients on payments and primary documents related matter
Keep the terms established by legislation and Client in respect of each Client
Maintain records, file tax reports and statistical reports, prepare accounting transactions and documents
The candidate will work closely with the senior staff, and may be asked to complete other tasks on different clients, in order to support the team
Escalation of client / work issues to Supervisor
Adherence to delivery assurance policies, processes and procedures
Answer client queries in a timely manner
Establish and maintain good working relationships with clients
Key knowledge and experience :
University graduate in Accounting / Finance
1-2 years’ experience in accounting is an advantage
Computer proficiency : MS Office packages (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
Prior experience with 1C 8 (2.0, 3.0) software is an advantage
Fluency in Russian and strong knowledge of English - both written and spoken (intermediate is a minimum level)
Knowledge of Kazakh language is preferable
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
Ability to ensure legal and regulatory compliance
Strong customer service skills
Ability to work well independently and within a team environment under supervision
