Digital Director will be the leader of Kazakhstan region responsible for the management of on-line media planning teams, leading the strategy and development of all digital media activities including strategy, cross-discipline / corridor communications planning, buying, trafficking, measurement and analytics.

The Digital Director is the subject matter expert across the agency and for client relationships. They will be passionate about media, be well versed in developing tactics that incorporate emerging trends, and participate in creating outstanding work that results in success for the clients.

Responsibilities :

Oversee development of media strategies consistent with brand marketing objectives. Recommend targeted, innovative media vehicles consistent with those media strategies to our clients.

Lead strategic and tactical digital planning activities by providing ideas and enthusiasm for connecting media with communities, both locally and globally.

Provide thought leadership and develop strategic direction for media planning and buying across digital and traditional mediums.

Develop and manage departmental budget, as well as create proposals and budgets for special departmental projects and initiatives as needed.

Qualifications :

5+ years of digital media management experience, including on-line marketing with execution of business goals yielding measurable results.

2+ years management experience required (not compulsory).

A college degree / equivalent experience is necessary.

Successful experience with on-line marketing, including SEO and CRM systems is a plus.

The ideal candidate will have a strong and current knowledge of industry trends and web best practices, including CRM, marketing and metrics.

Ability to synthesize large amounts of data into actionable information.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.

Demonstrated ability to see the bigger picture .

Superior writing, communication and presentation skills. Strong analytical skills.

Ability to contribute individually, as well as participate in cross-functional teams.

Experience working with senior-level clients.

Ability to create great working relationships with all levels within the company and across multiple disciplines.

Strong negotiation skills, tact and diplomacy.

Proficient knowledge of other media departments.

Ability to work under dual reporting structures
