Overview / Responsibilties
Wood is currently recruiting for a SIS Validation Engineer (Expatriate) with extensive experience in the oil and gas / petrochemical industry to join our team in Atyrau on a 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation.
Reporting to the FGP MAC Project Manager, your primary purpose in this role will be to develop SIS Validation Procedures for the FGP MAC project focusing on Functional Safety and Safety Lifecycle requirements.
In addition, you will also be responsible for :

Your experience :
Ideally, you will have 10+ years of proven experience in engineering design, control systems integration with an operating company or systems vendor within the brownfields onshore / offshore oil & gas industry.
What will set you apart will be you 5+ years of relevant experience in a functional safety role, developing functional safety design, procedures and implementation projects.
