Role Purpose : Reward Coordinator is responsible for designing and implementing compensation and benefits, employee wellbeing and incentive schemes, development of the related policies, and procedures.
He / she will ensure that the University reward strategies support the efforts to cultivate talented and engaged workforce, their legal compliance and cost effectiveness.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Reward : Responsible for management of the reward budget across the University. Completes salary reviews, benchmarking exercises and other reward related projects.
Workforce planning : Contributes to the workforce planning by keeping track of the staffing levels, staffing needs and addressing ad-hoc changes of the staffing plans and / or organizational charts.
Cooperates with manager to ensure that jobs are designed / redesigned in a most cost- effective way by offering various options (job enlargements, job enrichments, job simplification etc.).
Job evaluation / classification : Conducts regular job evaluation and classification, serves as a secretary of the job evaluation / classification committee.
Employee Relations : Collaborates with other HR colleagues to develop the total rewards programs that include salary, wellbeing, incentives, recognition, training opportunities etc.
Prepares guides, handbooks and conducts internal training for managers on total rewards, contract modalities, job design / redesign etc.
Compliance : Is responsible for compliance of the reward strategies with national legislation and alignment with NU Core Values, internal policies and procedures.
Data and Reports : Responsible for keeping data up-to-date and providing internal and external reports in a timely and accurate manner.
Supports internal and external audits by providing information requested.
Other : Drives continuous improvement of processes, procedures, and policies to enable efficiency, effectiveness, and resilience.
Performs other duties relevant to the purpose of this role.
