WorleyParsons is supporting a substantial, multi-year, Wellhead Pressure Management Project that is an expansion of our client’s existing facilities.

The project offers a great opportunity to work on a world-class mega project!

The project employs technologies to increase capacity and reliability and is located in Tengiz, western Kazakhstan. Tengiz is the world's deepest operating super-

giant oil field, with the top of the reservoir at about 12,000 feet (3,657 m) below ground. Estimated to extend into 2019, the scope of the project comprises Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and Engineering Procurement Construction Management (EPCM).

The project has full FID and employs more than 3,000 professionals, globally.

The project will add further processing, production gathering and sour gas re-injection capacity and increase production by 12 MMTPY.

The Project will increase oil production by a further 12 million tons per year to a total of approximately 36 million tons per year and builds upon the success of the recent Sour Gas Injection and Second Generation Plant expansion, which is proving the viability of sour gas injection into the Tengiz reservoir.

The design is based on modular concepts and also includes an Early Works program.

We are recruiting for WorleyParsons experienced Recruitment Manager for a position located in Atyrau, Kazakhstan. This is a 6x2 rotation (six weeks on / 2 weeks off), housing, per diem, uplift, and transportation provided.

Responsible for overall recruitment leadership for multiple WorleyParsons project locations in Kazakhstan .Ensure the delivery of professional recruitment support to projects in a manner which maximises the number and quality of candidates for each position and maintains a timely and professional system of recruitment.

Responsible for determining relevant and cost effective sourcing channels for WorleyParson, co-ordinating all internal and external recruitment.

Develop the employer branding agenda and research external perceptions of the business and develop an appropriate strategy for the location.

Lead approved Recruitment policies and activities to ensure the availability and effective use of human resources to achieve profitability and business objectives across multiple locations / countries.

Overall accountability for the following :

  • Formulate recruitment strategy and plans, objectives and methods (and is some cases policy) for WorleyParsons project.
  • Recruitment, management and mentoring of project recruitment resourcing support and drive results.
  • Recruitment oversight of all hires on assigned WorleyParsons project and provide support to Executive resourcing as required including all hires in Kazakhstan and Expats assigned to Kazakhstan.
  • Undertake recruitment planning in conjunction with other managers to assess current and forecasted recruitment needs.
  • Develop, manage and report regularly on a robust resource planning process ensuring lead times to mobilization are reduced and demobilisations are considered (locally, regionally and globally).
  • Track the effectiveness of the agency PSL in order to ensure they are fully engaged and able to support project.
  • Ensure delivery of resource with the right skills, at the right time . Set and maintain a recruitmentstandard for the project.
  • Support implementation of best practice recruitment guidelines that are consistent with organisational policies and procedure.
  • Develop an effective pipeline of key talent potentially available for immediate hire as succession planning needs dictate.
  • Maintain and review the workforce plan and initiate appropriate action in relation to the organisation's use and development of employees.
  • Undertake and drive recruitment planning in conjunction with senior management to assess the project’s current and future recruitment needs.
  • Work with external vendors and WorleyParsons’ internal recruitment partner, Energy Resourcing to ensure appropriate recruitment support to the project.
  • Provide HR and recruitment support to project locations as required and build credible relationships with all project stakeholders including the JV partner and customer.
  • Recruitment of suitably qualified and competent local and global resources.
  • Work with Global Mobility to establish the best way to mobilize expats to new project locations within WorleyParsons and project policies.
  • Track and monitor Project JV partner parity.Enforce project staffing procedures and resolve issues. Track progress and produce parity reports.
  • Partner with Project Controls to affect a seamless PAF process ensuring candidates are hired to the project without delay.
  • Conduct project staffing process training to managers on project recruitment framework.
  • Resolve complex issues related to recruitment and mobilization of resources to the project.
  • Operate within WorleyParsons and project procedures for quality assurance and OH&S. Accountable for OH&S within own area of the Business and be responsible for ensuring that the team adopt exemplary HSSE behaviours.
  • Complete other tasks and activities as reasonably required within the confines of the role.

  • Strong ability to work within a virtual’ team.
  • A demonstrable track record from a similar role in a large multinational business within Energy and Natural Resources .
  • In addition to extensive operational recruitment experience, considerable exposure to employer brand marketing and strategic staffing initiatives from both agency and in-house environments.

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant recruitment experience, at least 5 of the 10 years in a recruitment leadership role.
  • Miminum of 5 years previous experience working with an EPC contractor is desirable.
  • Project experience desired.
  • Experience working with expats and international mobility.
  • Background in a reputed international recruitment agency.
  • Flexible attitude to work and sensitivity to business requirements.
  • Diplomacy and empathy.
  • Willing and able to work hands-on .
